Overview
Yassir is a technology company offering ride-hailing, delivery and payment services. Within the mobility platform, my backend work supports the driver lifecycle, from onboarding and activation to account and profile management.
My contribution
Driver account APIs
Build and maintain APIs and backend services for driver onboarding, account management and profile management using Node.js, NestJS, Express.js and TypeScript.
Business workflows
Contribute to activation workflows, business rules, and country- and service-specific backend configuration.
Production delivery & collaboration
Investigate backend issues and monitor production behavior with Datadog. Work with product, mobile, QA and engineering teams through refinement, implementation, testing, code review and releases.
Engineering focus
Working within an existing mobility platform
The work involves maintaining and extending backend behavior used by driver-account and driver-experience flows, in coordination with the teams consuming those services.
Following work into production
Responsibilities extend beyond implementation to testing, review, releases and investigation of production behavior. Datadog supports service monitoring and issue investigation.
Current scope
This is an ongoing role within an established engineering team. The scope here describes my backend contributions to driver lifecycle services, not ownership of the entire mobility platform.
