Overview
FYDNI is an accounting and document-operations platform with mobile and back-office applications. My work covered client-facing React Native flows, React administration features and supporting NestJS endpoints within a cross-functional Agile team.
My contribution
Mobile onboarding & account flows
Developed invite-based onboarding, authentication, account management, notification preferences and multilingual settings in React Native.
Document capture & messaging
Implemented camera, gallery and file-picker uploads, scan-to-PDF and document categorization. Built messaging screens and conversation threads connected to real-time flows.
Back office & APIs
Delivered React dashboards and features for clients, accountants, packs and settings, with supporting NestJS endpoints and a MySQL/TypeORM data layer.
Engineering focus
Bringing document intake onto mobile
The document flow supported several sources—camera, gallery and files—alongside PDF scanning and categorization, rather than relying on a single upload route.
Working across application boundaries
Contributions spanned mobile screens, back-office interfaces and supporting APIs, alongside real-time messaging and multilingual settings.
Outcome & scope
The delivered work covered document intake, communication and account workflows across mobile and back-office applications. These were contributions through Aventique, developed with the wider product and engineering team.
